I’m a wife and mother who hates having her picture taken, but I do it because years from now I won’t notice the extra baby weight or the fine lines around my eyes; I’ll only see the laughter and the moments, and be glad I was part of them.

I’m a writer on a neverending quest for the perfect word or a song of a sentence that simply rolls off the tongue.

I’m the outgoing one, most likely to squeal loudly during sessions when we’ve nailed a shot.

I’m a location junkie and suffer from the urge to brake suddenly while driving to get a glimpse of yet another perfect spot.

I’m a lover all things vintage, chippy, grungy, shabby, texture-y. My office feels a bit like Alice in Wonderland-meets-flea market. Have a seat. No, really. There are at least six chairs at arm’s length.

I’m the high school freshman who didn’t get picked first, second or next to last for concert choir, but i’ll break out in song if it means laughter from a child or an elusive smile from a shy teen.

I’m the small town girl who graduated college with a journalism degree and moved to New York City with nothing more than three boxes of personal belongings and a resume.

I’m an artist – a photographer behind the lens and a designer at the computer. Seeing creatively comes as natural as breathing. Take away my camera and my ability to create and I’m pretty sure we’re going to need oxygen.

I’m truly blessed to be all of these things. In ways big and small, these elements find their way into each of my sessions and, with each session and each new friendship, who “i am” continues to evolve.
