A reason to be thankful l Kansas City newborn photographer
I’ve had the pleasure of shooting and designing their holiday card for the past few years, but they had a little something extra to be thankful for this year. Something of the two-legged variety with ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes. He arrived before Thanksgiving and I think he’s just perfect.
These are a few of my favorites from their holiday card mini-session and the resulting combined holiday/birth announcement card design. (Names blurred for privacy; custom-knitted hat by Angelbeez.)

These are stunning Kami!
Nanci Schwartz passed on your website so I could see your work. It is absolutely beautiful. I was curious what camera do you shoot with and what is your favorite lens??
Nanci – thank you for the great compliment! And I love Nanci – she’s amazing in so many ways. Ok … I shoot with the Canon 5D and the lens that is on my camera 75% of the time is the 24-70/2.8L. I always thought I would be a prime lens girl, but as it turns out, I’m not. Best to you.
Thank you Kami on the camera information. I want to get a new camera as I just have a basic Nikon D60 now, but I do shoot with a 50 prime lens. I tried out a friends 24-70 lens the other day and it was awesome…I see why you shoot with that the majority of the time. Have you always used Canon products?
Yep – I’ve always been a Canon girl, although my first film camera was a manual Pentax.
Kami these shots of The Benjamin hat are breathtaking!
