The newest little pumpkin ~l~ Kansas City Newborn Photographer

This is the time of year when the blog gets a little neglected and late-night editing is a norm at least until the holiday rush is over.  If you could see my office right now, you’d know what I’m talking about. I have big plans to get everything organized again …. right after …. well, maybe December. But in the meantime, I couldn’t head off to bed without posting this quick peek from my latest natural light newborn session. It’s not really a peek for mom and dad – they’ve already seen their full gallery of images, but I thought sweet Evie (yes, this is the second newborn Evie I’ve photographed of late) might just make you smile in the event that your house has been hit by the pre-holiday chaos or – worse – the flu. I’m so behind on blogging, but will try to catch up in the next few days. Next up on the blog:  Katie and David, Ethan and his family and some peeks from the holiday mini sessions.

Gorgeous baby and photos. I absolutely LOVE the pumpkin picture. Looks like another beautiful nature baby. Do you know where they got the name Evie?

Love Love Love the pumpkin shot!!!

Thank you, ladies! The pumpkin hat is doubling as her little Halloween costume this year, I think, as well.

Sara: They just simply loved the name Evelyn. No family ties, just loved it. I asked same question. It’s becoming one of my favorite new “old” baby names. Speaking of …. I’ll bet your little EV is getting BIG!

I think that these photos are stunning, and adorable, along with very well taken.

Kami, these are great! You do such a great job. I love the pumpkin shot and so perfect for this time of year. Their family photo is gorgeous! I know they are so proud of their little Evie and you have captured that with your photo. Of course I also love the hats. Evie is so tiny that even the stretchy hat is too big! Love it!
