‘Cuz that’s how he rolls {Kansas City child photographer}
in pure vintage style, of course. And who could blame him? With eyes like that (and need I mention those curls?) they’re going to be lined up around the block. At least around the playground.
But somehow I think big sister’s going to be watching his every move.
Meet Calvin and Emma and their mom and dad (the ones with the great recipe for stunning babies!) This is the third time they’ve appeared on the blog and, this session, we made our way downtown – along with Dad’s vintage ride – to commemorate Calvin’s second birthday. I couldn’t find it in me to do one black and white conversion in the whole bunch … it seemed like sacrilege in light of the amazing colors. Enjoy some of my favorites!

Kami, these are to die for!! What a face on that little guy! I can;t wait to see Reed & Hannah’s pics. ~Robin

OH MY GOSH!!! These are AMAZING! EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. Love them all!! These kids are absolutely precious and the images are perfection! Great, great job!!
I want to hang these on my wall – and their not even my kids. Incredible photos – and such a beautiful family.
OMG!! Y’all cannot imagine how proud I am. My friends here in Texas will all be so envious. They all look forward to the pitures I send them (at least they say they do). I, without a doubt, have the most beautiful Grandkids on the planet. Kami, you are no doubt a most accomplished photographer. These images are second to none. Sure doesn’t hurt to have great subjects either, does it?
Great photos- what a beautiful family and a great way to photograph them. No faked smiles, all natural, and perfect lighting!
Kami, excellent photographs! How do you manage to get such natural smiles from the children? What camera/lens did you use for these pictures?
Kelly, tough call on which ones to choose. I like the close-ups.
These are amazing pictures. I know they’re adorable, I get to see them in person….and these pictures totally do them justice!
Beautiful family! The pictures are incredible.
Wow! Tough choice sister…definately the one of you and Brian, the best I have seen of the two of you in awhile
) Um all the kids pics are awesome, Kami, great job. Can’t even pic a favorite! Okay, 1,2,4, and 5……does that help at all! These are great photographs!
OMG These pictures are totally awesome. I agree with Grandpa Bob, he has beautiful/handsome grandchildren and Kami, what an awesome job you have done to capture their personalities. You do have some awesome subjects here!!
These are all great! These kids are just as adorable in person!! Hard to pick a favorite – they are all great! Only wish there were more of Emma – she is a model in the making (so is Calvin!)
Great job Kami!
These are just awesome!! I love the greens and oranges. Calvin and Emma could probably go to work for the Gap right now.
Kami – awesome work!!! Kelly & Brian you all have some BEAUTIFUL babies!!
These are great pictures! They all look absolutely amazing!
Thank you all for the kind notes! I look forward to every session with this family – they’re just fun and mom is awesome at styling the kids, too!
Roy – I shoot with a Canon 5D and several L series lenses. This entire session was shot with the 24-70/2.8L lens.
Wow, they are all unbelievable! Its so hard to pick a fav, but I love Emma and Calvin on the step, also the single of Emma is amazing and I love the single of Calvin in the car. Ooooh those eyes!

Kelly,
You said Kami was good….but seriously, I never imagined this quality! Kami, wonderful work!
Gorgeous children. I love, love the three peek-a-boo pictures. Kelly, you must get all three and frame them side-by-side. I also love the picture with Calvin sitting next to the wall. Congratulations on your ability to capture such wonderful memories and sharing them with us!
Wow! Those curls, those eyes!! Killing me with all the cuteness! Fantastic images!!
Absolutely must agree these are beautiful! But of course how hard was it with two of the most beautiful kids on earth?
