Angie+Steve {Kansas City wedding photography}

I promised this one up by midnight tonight and I think I’m actually going to make it! My good photographer friend, Jamie, and I had the pleasure of capturing wedding memories for another good friend this past weekend and this may well go down as my longest “sneak” ever on the blog. But there are simply too many beautiful shots to narrow them down.

Despite the bitter cold weather, it was a beautiful ceremony at Powell Gardens in that amazing glass chapel. We had fall colors and nature all around us. More importantly, Angie and Steve had their closest family and friends all around them as they said “I do” and welcomed in their new life as Mr. and Mrs. They were great sports when we asked for “just one more shot” without the jackets … outside. Jamie and I love everything about the wedding details, so hopefully, the images below make you feel like you were there. We’re so glad we were. Thanks, Angie, Steve and family, for inviting us to share in your big day! I’m post-processing tons more where these came from, so watch for your full gallery soon.

In case you’re wondering just how jaw-dropping his bride looked when the doors opened at the back of the chapel …. this pic says it all.

And they walked right out of the chapel for their first quiet moments together as husband and wife … Jamie snapped these shots through the glass window and I love them. They were calling for a vintage feel and I think they capture the emotions of the moment perfectly.

    Lovely set of wedding images telling the story of this wonderful day. I especially like the B&W conversion on some images, which were well chosen to make the mix.
