A few of their favorite things … {Kansas City baby photography}
If you’ve ever done a session with me, you know I always try to incorporate heirlooms and unique items that are sentimental to your family or child. With this particular session, we were able to incorporate not one, but three of these elements. The sock monkeys belonged to dad and his brother when they were kids; the vintage toy box was mom and her brother’s when they were kids; and the little pink rocking chair was an heirloom from grandpa. Little Miss Anna didn’t seem to mind at all. She was busy watching closely for mom and dad to entertain her while I snapped away. What a wonderful way to spend a morning! We captured great shots of the whole family (there’s one of Anna’s uncle who was visiting below), but I won’t post any sneaks of those on the blog just in case they choose one of those for their holiday card – don’t want to spoil the surprise. In the meantime, enjoy the sparkly blue eyes and cute baby chub … it’s easy to see why they’re so enamored with her.
