I couldn’t wait … {Kansas City child photography}
to post these! Our session uncovered her many expressions and, reversely, her images brought out my split personality … the one that gets goosebumps over decadent, bright color and my alter ego … the one that could sit back and savor one rich, creamy black and white shot after another.
This is what it’s like being oh-so-beautiful, oh-so-giggly, oh-so-serious and … demonstrated by the very last shot we captured … oh-so-ready-to-go-to-lunch-and-get-my-treat-for-being-good-for-pictures.
This is what it’s like being oh-so-three. Meet Addie.

Baby denim meets vintage baby – {Kansas City baby photography}
A quick little peek … she’s got so many new expressions since last time we saw her. She’s also “this close” to seriously taking off … something that I love about the six month sessions. She proved she’s an old pro at the clothing changes – we managed three during her session and not one protest, which gave me so many great images to work with, including the last one here that was begging for an old-time, vintage feel. The dress was worn by several generations in her family, including grandma, so we knew this was a must-have. I’ll post more in the coming week as I complete design work and processing on this session. In the meantime, enjoy more of little Anna.

And “sizzle” …..

And “sweet” ….

Definitely stay tuned for more from each of these sessions over the next week and more sneak peeks tomorrow from several other sessions last week. Wow!

He had me at “red hat” [Kansas City baby photography]
Ok … so he had all of us way before the red hat, but this little cherub melted my heart with his crimson cap and always-sweet personality. At six months, he continues to showcase that little furrowed brow, the pensive looks and his trademark swirl of hair just like dad’s. This session, however, he was also full of big smiles. I absolutely love this family and … even more … love capturing the joy they have in one another. Thankfully, you (and I) get to see him again in three months when I’m sure he’ll be up on two legs getting ready to really move and shake! Enjoy several of my favorites from this session.
