Exactly what we mean by “that pregnancy glow”

Pregnancy in and of itself is a beautiful thing (ok … once we get past the 24-hour “morning sickness” and swollen feet), but I believe “S” truly defines what it means to be one hot mama. And I’m not referring to the hot July sun, although we both had the urge to go splashing around the gorgeous waterfall midway through our shoot. That said, not only is she beautiful outside, she’s one of the most incredible women inside, too … a working mom (see her twins in the next post down), devoted wife, triathalete and a great friend. It was so much fun capturing this stage of her pregnancy and the anticipation of a new baby. Honestly, this is truly why I’m so completely hooked on this job … The pictures speak for themselves. Thanks so much for allowing me to capture these moments.

(Almost) three years … times two :-)

These are two of the most charming, simply beautiful young ladies I’ve had the pleasure of working with. And the blue eyes are absolutely to die for. Thank you “S” and “L” and mom and dad for the opportunity to spend the morning with you. The girls were such troopers through three outfit changes … a little promise of Dairy Queen will get you a long way with (almost) three year-olds! :-) We bundled their three-year shoot with family shots and a maternity session for mom. Even furry little diva, Zoe, got into the act, complete with hair bows and her own purse. Things are set to get a whole lot busier for this amazing family … little brother is due to be born in about four weeks (see post above for his “in utero” guest shots). Enjoy your sneak peeks! I’ll be busy, busy, busy post-processing the rest of your shots and may post a few more here by week’s end. Thanks again for the awesome morning!

Ordinary moments make extraordinary memories

These are perfect examples of how a high chair, stairs, a bench and ordinary moments with a one-year-old simply “being one” can add up to wonderful keepsake images. They grow so fast and little “B” is living proof that they move so fast at this age, too! We were so happy to catch her “little piggies,” “that fun curl that sticks up,” and her mischievous smiles complete with crinkly eyes. Was she up to something? You bet!

Blue eyes and a whole lotta attitude! :-)

This little one takes the whole “sugar and spice” notion to a whole new level. We had a blast shooting despite the hot summer morning and she was a little trooper the whole time. What a sweet girl … with the biggest, bluest eyes to boot. These are just a handful of the many great shots that really capture her personality … And while I love the fluttery lashes and innocent looks, I think one of my favorites has to be the last pic in this post … definitely no shrinking violet here! Thanks to little “M” and her parents for the wonderful morning. There are so many more where these came from! Enjoy!
